Gapminder Graph – Hours of fun for a Friday

Here is a very interesting tool. It’s a Flash tool that charts each country’s GDP against it’s mean life expectancy.

You can choose all sorts of variables, including ‘Who has the healthiest teeth?’ compared to GDP. The GDP/Life Expectancy data goes back to 1800, although there is a note on the website telling you that it’s mostly guesses based on history. You can select countries and compare. It’s fascinating!
